An exhibition of abstract paintings and collages by past Ucross residents Phoebe Adams and Teresa Booth Brown that explores “The color of a landscape and it’s changing, ambient light” (John Yau, exhibition essay).

Contemporary Native American Work Selections from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation

An exhibition focusing on printmaking that features twenty-one works by ten distinguished Native American artists. Wildlife, Pattern, and Identity represents three significant themes that have been important in Native American art throughout history and continuing into contemporary work.  During the exhibition, the Ucross gallery space will feature a video room presenting the documentary Native Art Now!.

All costs associated with this exhibition have been generously contributed by Jordan Schnitzer and His Family Foundation.

Lineage & Legacy: The Imaged Horse

A multidisciplinary equine exhibition featuring the work of Lee Deigaard, Susan Hillyard, Lara Ješe, Søssa Jørgensen, Marine Lahaix, Sarah O’Farrell, Mark E. Ritchie, Louise Taylor, Mariel Versluis and Beáta Veszely.

This exhibition features paintings by Ucross Fellow and avid birder Christina Baal. The show will also include art submitted by members of the immediate community, the larger Wyoming community and the community of past Ucross residents from across the country. Join us on June 10 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for a day of events including a presentation on birding with tips on nature-journaling by Baal and Dr. Jackie Canterbury of Bighorn Audubon, guided bird walks on Ucross property (led by Baal and Canterbury), and a reception with an artist talk.

Views of Oregon: Sixteen Artists

The multidisciplinary exhibition features a wide range of photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.  All of the artists spent time in residence at Ucross Foundation between 2013 and 2016 through a partnership with The Ford Family Foundation.  The exhibition presents forty-eight works by these accomplished Oregon artists.
