Award-winning Author Eric Rutkow to Speak at Denver’s Tattered Cover Book Store on Monday, July 29

Eric Rutkow, author of American Canopy: Trees, Forests, and the Making of a Nation (Scribner), will speak at the Tattered Cover Book Store in Denver (LoDo) on Monday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m.  The event is co-sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Land Series and Ucross Foundation. Rutkow will be a writer-in-residence at Ucross in August. 

A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Rutkow has worked as a lawyer on environmental issues and is currently pursuing a doctorate in American history at Yale.  American Canopy, his first book, was honored with a PROSE Award in U.S. History for Professional and Scholarly Excellence.
