Michael R. Jackson won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his musical A STRANGE LOOP and Colson Whitehead won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his novel THE NICKEL BOYS (his second Pulitzer Prize). Ucross Fellows Rhona Bitner and Munson Hunt were recently awarded Pollock-Krasner Foundation grants in contemporary art. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation provides grants to individual working visual artists (based on artistic merit) to create new work.
Elizabeth Kadetsky's fourth book, THE MEMORY EATERS, winner of the Juniper Prize in Creative Nonfiction, was published by University of Massachusetts Press on March 31.
