GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This year, we ask you to support Ucross on GivingTuesday. Your tax-deductible gift, at any amount, will help us cross the finish line and meet our goal to raise $25,000 in 24 hours.
Each year, we provide the 115+ artists-in-residence with meals by a professional chef, a private studio, living accommodations, a stipend, and staff support, as well as cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary connections with their peers. And each artist's month-long residency costs us $12,500.

- WELCOMING OUR FIRST-EVER FARMER
Since joining our team this spring, Esper’s harvests have been at the heart of our artists’ table, fueling creative work with home-grown greens, fruits, and vegetables, and have helped us more holistically connect to the ranch. And we’re just getting started. Your donation will allow us to expand the farm to include more raised beds, add plots throughout the grounds, and provide more seasonal teamwork.
- SPICING UP CHEF JACKIE'S FAMOUS FEASTS
Artists and visitors alike rave about our chef’s artistic creations, which nurture and inspire. We have big plans to deepen the food program with more sourdough, more pop-up food truck events, and more creative thematic dinners.
- EXPANDING OUR CULINARY RESIDENCY
Our new program gives time and space to food-focused artists. We launched the program this summer and plan to expand it to include more engagement with the residency program and the community.
